In June, five planets will line up in the sky!

Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn will join a planetary parade. We can observe it on the eastern horizon, just before sunrise. Astronomers point out that the line of planets will be visible throughout June.

However, on the 3rd and 4th, Mercury and Saturn were at a minimum distance from each other 😉

On June 27, however, the waning crescent Moon will appear between Venus and Mars. Mercury will also be clearly visible that night, and the whole "parade" will last about an hour.

On board the DSCOVR satellite, about 1,529,000 km away, between the Earth and the Sun, there is a camera taking pictures of our planet every couple of hours.

"Venera-3" - automatic interplanetary station

It was launched on November 16, 1965 from Baikonur Cosmodrome.

On March 1, 1966, it reached Venera and "crashed" into its surface at -20° to +20° latitude and 60° to 80° east longitude. No data on Venera was transmitted by the station.

The "Venera-3 " station was the first spacecraft to reach the surface of another planet.
