Role Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Mines Operation.
- Ensure the safety of men and machinery under your charge.
- Perform statutory duties of Assistant Manager (Mines) as per MMR 1957.

Job Specifications:
- Supervision of Opencast Limestone Mine.
- Hold a Foreman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
- Act as shift in-charge, allocate machinery, and manage manpower.
- Supervise all mining operations, ensuring adherence to safety and legal requirements.
- Familiarity with SAP, WCM, and safety management systems like ISO-9001, ISO-14001, and OHSAS 18001.

Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Shift manpower deployment.
- Quality control.
- Safe limestone and overburden production.
- Compliance with Mines Act as per Foreman (Mines).
- SAP and E-Khanij data entry.

Qualification Required: Diploma/Degree in Mining Engineering.

"Venera-3" - automatic interplanetary station

It was launched on November 16, 1965 from Baikonur Cosmodrome.

On March 1, 1966, it reached Venera and "crashed" into its surface at -20° to +20° latitude and 60° to 80° east longitude. No data on Venera was transmitted by the station.

The "Venera-3 " station was the first spacecraft to reach the surface of another planet.
