For years man has sought to merge the virtues of the muffin-top and the cookie for the mythical breakfast cookie ... Behold!

Banana-Chocolate Muffin-Top Cookies

Dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl:
-3 c. flour
-tsp good salt
-500mg Niacin (one reg. dose of nicotinic acid, optional, but recommended)

Wet ingredients in a separate bowl:
-1 c. cold butter, sliced into pieces to process
- Β½ cup cane sugar
- Β½ cup brown sugar
- 2 overripe bananas
- 2 tsp vanilla extract

Hand mixer works best to blend up - cold butter is difficult to work with but if the pieces end up ΒΌ" bits you're fine. Mixture will be pretty viscous.

-add 2 eggs to the wet mixture, one at a time
-mix tsp baking soda dissolved in hot water

-add wet ingredients to the dry until it's all mixed
-mix in 2 cups chocolate chips

Mixture will be creamy but firm enough to hold form.

2 Tbsp batter/cookie, 2" separated on cookie sheet should give you 30-32 cookies.
Middle rack@350 til tops brown a bit like in photo.

Were some of these ancient sites and beautiful works of art crafted with such laser like precision done with just hammer and chisel? Or something far more advanced we still can’t replicate?
