tried many times but i can't seem to quit coffee. there are days when my head is not in the right space even after workout, sauna, and meditation. then a couple sips of coffee turns it around.
just one cup a day, only before 2pm. that's my constraint. when drank responsibly, it serves as the stimulant to snap out of slump

maybe i'm not thinking enough.
maybe i'm thinking too much.
always that tug of war in my mind.

might have been an overestimation. ups and downs and mental stretchmarks.

this morning i was taking a walk, and out of nowhere a dream project idea hit me.
very high level, but i'm 99% certain this is what i wanna take on truly long term. rough and abstract but chiseling away at it

sunshine and walks do wonders for our mind.
screens/black mirrors we occupy ourselves ironically unshackle our reach to the entire world yet trap our attention to that tiny screen.
nature heals and resets

protecting our inner child is perhaps the very end game.
befriending people jobs places that help us feel that way.
doesn’t matter how old we get. our inner child is immune to the passing of time.
we just gotta nurture it into permanence.

i remember the shock and awe when i watched toy story, the first long form 3d animation, for the first time as a child.
nothing short of breathtaking.

launched our new app 5d ago. making some revenue unlike many failed apps we launched before.
motion truly is lotion because even though we don’t have everything figured out,
we successfully crawled out of the slump where we didn’t get to launch real “products” for 2-3 months.
now that the app is out in the wild, we are constantly learning. and we got that sense of purpose again.
i’ve found it excruciatingly difficult to wake up each morning looking proactively wtf to work on.
we are walking again as a company. we were crawling before.
nothing lasts forever. my role and goal is to relentlessly look for something that both we and market are in love with, and push it like there’s no tomorrow when we spot that sign.

took a long evening walk. was feeling a little clogged in my head but the walk sparked something within again.
long walks inspire me and loosens me up. makes room for new thoughts to blossom into something real again.
