🇺🇸 Eight leading crypto trade associations, along with Uniswap (UNI) and Jump Crypto, have issued a joint statement in support of including the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA) in the updated version of the CLARITY bill — according to Eleanor Terrett.

The BRCA aims to provide legal clarity for blockchain infrastructure participants.

Key point of the BRCA:
Software developers, validators, infrastructure providers, and other network participants would not be considered financial intermediaries unless they have control over user funds. This provision exempts many technical contributors from registering as money transmitters or complying with financial institution regulations.
