Health is Wealth
Preferably avoid eating Tomato RAW.
It is difficult for our body to absorb when eaten raw,
but once cooked,
the lycopene are absorbed much more easily by our body (tomatoes are rich in lycopene which helps our body to fight Heart Disease and Cancer)

Til ke ladoo contains jaggery, a natural sweetener that helps regulate blood sugar levels and curb cravings. Unlike refined sugar, jaggery releases glucose slowly into the bloodstream, preventing spikes in blood sugar that trigger hunger pangs.

ARRIVECAN THUS GOES GLOBAL

Who knew that Canada was so "cutting edge" when it came to making the world a much unhappier place where life gets more difficult every day?

These are the same people that spout slogans about the virtues of "globalization". What globalization? The ordinary person cannot travel without visas and passports; cross-border bank transactions for non-billionaires cannot surpass a few thousand dollars, with justification demanded; ship anything and it gets slammed with duties; go abroad and marry someone from another country, and they can't come back home with you; study abroad, and credits earned count for nothingā€”on and on it goes.

Globalization only truly exists for the 0.0001% class of ultra elites. When they move billions into the Cayman Islands, they get away with it, and are facilitated. For the rest of us poor saps who uphold globalization because Trump says he hates itā€”so we must love itā€”globalization never amounts to much more than readily accessible sushi. šŸ£

Travelers will need 'permission' and a fee to visit United Kingdom as part of new digitized system
All tourists will have to fork over a fee if they're not British or Irish citizens

The British government has rolled out a new requirement for travelers hoping to visit the country.

An "Electronic Travel Authorization" (ETA) has been implemented that digitizes tourists' requests to visit the country while paying a fee of about $13.

"Everyone wishing to travel to the U.K. ā€“ except British and Irish citizens ā€“ will need permission to travel in advance of coming here," says the United Kingdom governmentā€™s site.

The ETAs are linked to a travelerā€™s passport in an effort to smooth [ā“] security checks and "prevent abuse" of the immigration system....

An online form will be made available asking for valid passport information, travel details, an email address and a credit or debit card, along with "suitability questions."...

"The worldwide expansion of the ETA demonstrates our commitment to enhance security through new technology and embedding a modern immigration system," the minister for Migration and Citizenship, Seema Malhotra, said in a press release.

"[Digitization] enables a smooth [ā“] experience for the millions of people who pass through the border every year, including the visitors we warmly welcome to the UK who are predicted to contribute over Ā£32 billion to our tourism economy this year," added Malhotra....

The United Kingdom plans to fully digitize its borders by 2025.

LOCKDOWN CONSEQUENCES: SOARING PROPERTY TAXES

...Located roughly an hour north of Ottawa, the village of Danford Lake ā€“ also known as Alleyn et Cawood ā€“ is home to just 300 people, with seasonal cottagers coming and going through the year. But earlier this year, homeowners in the area were notified that their property valuations would be increasing by 370 per cent in 2025, and along with it, the amount they pay in property taxes....

Squitti says the drastic increase is due to the sale of more than 100 plots of empty land by property developers.

"[The evaluation of the plots of land] was at about $14,000. They sold for $40,000, $50,000, which has skewed the data for the values of the properties in our territory."

Isabelle Cardinal, director general for the municipality, says sales of the land were made in the midst of the pandemic, when many people were looking to leave larger cities in search of more rural settings.

"We have some people from Texas buying; from out west buying. It was very popular because this land became available shortly after Covid," Cardinal tells CTV News. "These developers, they listed land at these prices, and people were buying."

Cardinal, a resident of the village, says her current property taxes are around $3,000 annually. With the 370 per cent increase, her property taxes would rise to more than $12,000....
Note how most seniors in these small towns now find themselves unable to raise money to pay for their property taxes, since they live on fixed incomes. Most people in this demographic demanded harsh lockdowns and severe persecution of the "unvaxxed". KARMA just called.

CHEERING FOR A PERMANENT PANDEMIC: THE STAY-AT-HOME CLASS CONTINUES TO FIGHT

Yes, it is amazing: there are still corporate, government, and academic staff who insist on working from home, like 2020 was meant to be forever. No doubt some of them invested in distant properties, and now have to offload them if forced to return to their offices. Here are some news stories on this persisting phenomenon: the stay-at-home class that demands permanent pandemic measures.

CUPEU rejects Concordiaā€™s offer, officially goes on strike
CUPEU president Shoshana Kalfon told The Link on Aug. 27 that the union is striking to oppose the universityā€™s policy on hybrid work for academic staff. The policy only allows academic staff members one day of remote work per week, with the rest being mandatory on-campus work days.

ā€œ[The hybrid work plan] for the academic side of the university is kind of like a ā€˜one-size-fits-allā€™ whereas on the service side, thereā€™s more flexibility,ā€ Kalfon said. ā€œWeā€™re really looking to allow those who work on the academic side to have more flexibility.ā€

Lam says that the union has been in negotiations with Concordia for close to a year. He says that the university is ā€œtrying to play hardballā€ and is refusing to budge on the unionā€™s demands of two days of hybrid work per week for academic staff.
Company plans to track workers' locations in return-to-office crackdown
PricewaterhouseCoopers, known as PwC, announced that its U.K. branch is "placing more emphasis on in-person working." It initiated a new policy that requires staff to spend at least three days a week, or 60% of their time, in the office or with clients. That's up from the previously mandated two to three days in the office or with clients, according to the firm.

A Bias for Panic
How the New York Times stoked Covid alarmism

Our study examined all corrections issued by the New York Times to articles relating to the Covid-19 pandemic. Between 2020 and 2024, the newspaper issued 576 corrections for 486 articles. Naturally, in times of crisis, facing uncertain and evolving information, reporters will get facts wrong. Sometimes they may, for instance, over- or underreport the number of children who have died or misstate the effectiveness of interventions like lockdowns. If news organizations are unbiased, one would expect such errors to occur with relatively equal frequency.

Thatā€™s not what we found. Instead, the paperā€™s errors tended to exaggerate the harm of the virus (or the effectiveness of interventions). Corrections were made for such errors nearly twice as frequently as for errors that downplayed harms. Fifty-five percent of errors overstated the harm of the virus, while only 24 percent understated (the rest were equivocal). In other words, when the New York Times got things wrong, it tended to do so in a way that falsely stoked fear and encouraged harmful social restrictions.

Canada is still doing Covidā€”at least in Regime Media:

'We're at a high degree of spread': What you need to know about COVID-19 in Ontario

...the disease poses a risk to many people, especially those who are elderly or immunocompromised....

...there has been a high degree of spread this summer that has been ā€œchallenging,ā€ Razak says.

ā€œWhat we do see right now suggests that we are at a high degree of spread. So if you look at the Public Health Agency of Canada website, Ontario is now flagged as a high degree of spread in the remaining monitor that exists.ā€...

[They still want people to believe that masks work against respiratory viruses:]

ā€œRemember that infections are unpredictable still. So where you can prevent an infection, that's always beneficial,ā€ Razak said. ā€œAnd that there's a lot of strategies that we now know work very well, for not only COVID, but for other respiratory infections in general.

He said that at times when the spread is highest, good strategies for preventing the spread of illness still include not exposing people when you're sick, increasing ventilation wherever possible, and using a mask in crowded settings.

However, he said those strategies can now be employed as people continue with their lives.

ā€œPeople should get out and enjoy life to the fullest extent. Think about these strategies as the equivalent of wearing a seatbelt, right? You drive, you got to get where you're going, but you take basic precautions to reduce risk as you're going.ā€
