⚖️ Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried has appealed and is seeking a new trial.

He was considered guilty even before he was indicted. He was deemed guilty by the media, FTX liquidators, federal prosecutors, lawyers and creditors,'' the lawyer said in a statement.

The jury “was only allowed to see half the picture.” Sam relied on legal advice on certain business matters, but the court barred him from testifying about it and from presenting evidence that FTX and the Alameda fund were solvent.

Bankman-Fried did not lose or steal all of his money, and his investments were not risky or foolish. Many of them, like the $500 million funding of AI startup Anthropic or Solana, were prophetic.
