The Boomer generation only became Republican because of personal greed manifested in “fiscal conservatism.” Gen X followed in a similar path via libertarian hedonism and being “politically incorrect.” It’s why all these old people damn near pass out if you even mention any actual conservative policy or even the hint of serious change.

These generations need to STEP ASIDE. Boomers have blown it repeatedly and Gen X is proving to be nothing more than the result of a TV-raised generation that just wants things to be like the 80s/90s again and have no convictions deeper than trying to get along with whoever is around.

I doubt it’ll ever get better than that for me.

At least my MAGA inspired political involvement. The business will continue and the mission to restore elegance and beauty will of course. Style IS political and I’ll always support AF. However, as of this quiet moment, I doubt it’ll ever get better than it’s been.

I hope to be wrong. I hope for a dramatic and unexpected u-turn. But I just can’t stomach any more bland speeches about trade and taxes.
