Dear Buddhist friends,
We warmly greet you and your families this Vesak Day as you recall the birth, enlightenment and final nirvana of Gautama Buddha — may your sacred observance of this holy festival be a peace-filled and spiritually-fulfilling one.
In these turbulent times of uncertainty and unrest when many are experiencing untold suffering worldwide, let us, in the words of Pope Francis, continue working together to “disarm souls by promoting a language of peace” in Singapore and beyond. May our communities of faith walk alongside each other and with other faith communities as we enjoy right speech and heartfelt fraternal conversations on our journey of life together.
On behalf of the Catholic community here in Singapore, we wish you a joyous and holy feast of Vesak!

Catholic Mobile App for Singapore
The CatholicSG mobile app that has served us since 2016 will be undergoing a revamp on 7 June 2023 to better serve the needs of the Church. No action is required to enjoy this update. However, do note that there will be a change to its functions. Find out more about the revamp and its functions and features.
The Digital Church Office which is spearheading this project, invites you to partner with them in building a mobile app that will better serve your needs and that of the Church. You may do so by sharing what you want in the mobile app, here.
