Standard Bot Privacy Policy

As previously announced, all Bots and Mini Apps must provide a Privacy Policy detailing how they handle user data.

To facilitate this process, we published a Standard Privacy Policy which applies by default to all Bots and Mini Apps that don't have their own. This policy broadly covers the data handling practices of most apps on Telegram, simplifying compliance for developers and adding transparency for users.

Alternatively, you can now set up your own Privacy Policy directly on @BotFather – allowing users to access it from a dedicated button in your Mini App's settings menu.

Please ensure our Standard Policy suits your needs – and publish your own via @BotFather if it does not.

A lot of people have been spreading the document that says USPS is patching unmanifested labels. While these documents are very real, it's also important to acknowledge the limitations in enforcement. The sheer volume of packages and labels processed by USPS on a daily basis makes it incredibly challenging to catch every single instance of unmanifested labels. However, as with any change, adaptation is key. If there are significant SR changes from this shift, the community will undoubtedly find ways to navigate around them. Ultimately, the effectiveness of such measures will only become evident over time. It's worth noting that UPS, even though they have the same policy around non manifested, their SR is consistently 95-97 percent from our labels. And as we approach Q3 and Q4, I expect the SR to rise higher and be around 99 percent.

So, while USPS is indeed tightening up, let's not jump to conclusions and spread unnecessary panic about the labels. It's far from over, and we'll find a way around it, just as we always have.
