Starlink Eats Viasat's Lunch: Time to Put $VSAT on the Chopping Block?
Viasat has lost 57% of its U.S. subscribers since Starlink's debut. In a letter to shareholders, Viasat revealed 257,000 fixed broadband subscribers in the U.S., down from a peak of 603,000 in September 2020. Meanwhile, SpaceX has told the FCC that it now has “more than 1.4 million” Starlink customers in the US, its largest market. In December 2023, SpaceX had claimed 1.3 million customers in the US, showing the growing dominance of Starlink in the satellite internet market. Given these trends, it might be time to consider buying puts on $VSAT.You can find the shareholder letter here - https://investors.viasat.com/static-files/67b745fb-9e36-44f0-8914-2a44a405a50c

AAPL is Overvalued
AAPL is perplexing. Pathetic revenue and EPS growth for going on 5 years now with a forward P/E usually reserved for high growth stocks like NVDA, MSFT etc. Bulge bracket sell side analysts consistently pander to this boomer stock because AAPL is such a large corporate and investment banking client, and they’re currently trying to justify AAPL’s premium valuation by focusing on services revenue and AI.Service related growth is slowing, will plateau, and remains a relatively modest portion of total revenue.Even if AI does expedite the upgrade cycle (I’m skeptical), that will just pull demand forward and change NOTHING long term. Huawei and other more cost effective options are eating AAPL’s lunch in developing markets like China with the most growth potential.AAPL is a consumer discretionary stock that will be hit hard if the soft landing narrative fails to materialize.

The Tesla of the sky. Archer is to Tesla what seagulls are to rats
Earnings yesterday, they beat them. Big investments from Stellantis and United. All good news, all around, stock drops 12% the following day. I found this one on a list of the most shorted stocks, near the top. It's slowly recovering, it seems, and it will probably run sometime soon. They are just building a huge manufacturing plant and starting LA air taxi service in 26. I've also seen articles about why NVDA should buy Archer.
