ever since i moved, i found a new cafe that is clean and well lighted.

but they close at 3pm.
still looking for a semi permanent go-to spot. breaks my routine a bit.

i proposed to the love of my life yesterday, and she said yes.

she lifts me up through my ups and downs. she likes seeing that fire in my eyes.

i am a better version of myself when i am with her.

i am happy that she said yes. one of the happiest days of my life.

i work with it, learn from it, stay in touch with my loved ones who are away from me,

but it is a mind sucking tiny black mirror that takes me away from immersing myself in the moment. it erodes away from my awareness.

i've spent a lot of my working hours in the past decade feeling stuck, in need of breakthroughs - so called writer's block.

progress often can't be forced with hours and efforts when going from 0 to 1.

what does help is to clear through "any" lingering straight forward tasks first, then free my mind enough to think of the undefined next step.

this way, i don't feel like i got nothing done that day even on my very worst days.

took a long evening walk. was feeling a little clogged in my head but the walk sparked something within again.

long walks inspire me and loosens me up. makes room for new thoughts to blossom into something real again.

launched our new app 5d ago. making some revenue unlike many failed apps we launched before.

motion truly is lotion because even though we don’t have everything figured out,

we successfully crawled out of the slump where we didn’t get to launch real “products” for 2-3 months.

now that the app is out in the wild, we are constantly learning. and we got that sense of purpose again.

i’ve found it excruciatingly difficult to wake up each morning looking proactively wtf to work on.

we are walking again as a company. we were crawling before.

nothing lasts forever. my role and goal is to relentlessly look for something that both we and market are in love with, and push it like there’s no tomorrow when we spot that sign.
